How does per-seat pricing work?
A seat is any team member with a login — a field tech or office user. You pay a small monthly base plus a per-seat rate. Starter includes up to 5 seats; Pro and Crew are unlimited, so you only pay the per-seat rate as you grow.
Do I still need QuickBooks?
Crewbound doesn't replace your QuickBooks accounting file — it feeds it. Approved invoices sync to QuickBooks Online and clocked hours flow into QuickBooks Payroll, so you keep your books of record without double entry.
Which tools does Crewbound replace?
Most crews drop CompanyCam (photo documentation), their field-service tool for scheduling and dispatch, Podium (messaging and reviews), and a separate time clock. QuickBooks stays as your accounting and payroll engine, connected to Crewbound.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
No long-term contract on monthly plans — cancel anytime. Annual plans save 20%. Crew includes dedicated onboarding and data import; Starter and Pro are self-serve with guided setup.
How is my company's data kept separate?
Every record carries a company ID and is scoped by row-level security in the database. Your jobs, customers, and photos are never visible to another company — it's enforced at the data layer, not just the UI.
Can field techs and office staff use the same plan?
Yes. One plan covers both surfaces — the field phone app and the office web dashboard — because they're the same system. Techs and office users are just different roles on your account.
